Neither designed for video games, nor standalone, and not entirely immersive, this headset is aimed at a new market: lifestyle. The HTC Vive Flow is unlike any other headset. Very light (189 grams), 3 DOF and worn like sunglasses, it has been designed to be carried everywhere, just like a smartphone. The headphones have no built-in battery (though they do have a very small one to prevent power cuts), so you have to connect them to a power socket, an external battery or your smartphone via USB-C to make them work. We therefore recommend it to users looking for a compact headset to watch films and TV series, and for whom price is not a factor. |
